We offer three "trails" that focus on programs, events, and buildings and grounds. The Programs Trail requires 140 hours (about 35 hours per week for 4 weeks, typically Monday through Friday). Volunteers support specific programs and activities, shadow seasonal staff members, and learn to interact with participants. The Events Trail requires 100 hours (completed over the course of several events; hours vary, and nights and weekends may be required). Volunteers work with a Youth Volunteer Program Guide to plan and deliver events to train and celebrate seasonal staff members and engage visitors. The Buildings & Grounds Trail requires 100 hours (schedules vary according to projects and are generally flexible).
