Carmen M. Torres Scholarship for Emerging Latine Leaders

Carmen co-founded the Perrone-Sizer Institute (PSi) and served on its faculty. She mentored administrators, teachers, and other education professionals, launched the Health Careers Pathway at Brighton High School and Pharmacy Program at Fenway High School, and co-headmastered the Boston Arts Academy. She was a tireless advocate of support services for English Language Learners in BPS high schools, taught at Boston University, and directed student and family services at Conservatory Lab Charter School.

Gifts in Carmen’s memory support a scholarship fund for emerging Latine leaders to attend PSi. Thank you for honoring her life and work.
