Perrone-Sizer Center for Creative Leadership
The Perrone-Sizer Center for Creative Leadership (PSC) develops and supports adaptive leaders in education and community-based organizations. Emerging leaders who are eager to champion racial justice and equity, integrate artistic and design thinking, and transform education experiences and systems for youth and families engage with PSC in three ways.
The Perrone-Sizer Institute is a year-long leadership certificate program. Participants may earn graduate credit and/or complete the Massachusetts Performance Assessment for Leaders (PAL), a requirement for principal licensure. The program develops leaders as artists, educators, and community organizers who join a network of alumni committed to pursuing justice and sustainability.
Professional Development Courses
PSC offers ongoing professional development courses primarily designed for educators, but available to anyone working in education. All courses offer Professional Development Points (PDPs). Explore recent offerings, and request information below if you’d like to receive updates about future courses. We accept individual registrants and institutional clients that wish to train multiple employees.
Consulting and Coaching
PSC faculty members provide consulting services for schools, school leaders, and nonprofits committed to reimagining learning for youth. Consulting services include coaching and applying various lenses (such as the arts and outdoors) to leadership development and education. Internally, PSC supports Hale’s program evaluation and outcome measurement.
