Boston Marathon

Hale is honored to be a member of the Boston Marathon Official Charity Program. Since 2013, our teams have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support programs including HOLA and Intrepid Academy at Hale. Our runners help reverse the “summer learning slide” and create outdoor learning opportunities for Boston Public Schools students.

We seek runners who are as serious about closing the achievement gap as they are about crossing the finish line. Interest is very high each year, so we are only able to offer interviews to applicants who most closely connect with Hale’s mission and who are capable of meeting our ambitious fundraising goals.

Team Hale 2020 applications are now available. We review materials on a rolling basis, and typically fill the team by mid-October. Orientation and training begin in November and continue through April.

Please note that our 2020 team selection is now complete.  Email Paula if you would like to be added to a waitlist, and please consider supporting this year’s runners.

Reebok Ragnar Road Cape Cod

Hale’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) is excited to announce its first Reebok Ragnar Road Cape Cod relay team.

This two-day, twelve-person race from Duxbury to Smuggler’s Beach will challenge each runner to complete three legs, each with a distance ranging from 3 to 9 miles.

While runners are busy training for the event on May 8 and 9, they’re also earnestly fundraising for HOLA and Intrepid Academy at Hale!

You can support their efforts with a donation, or if you’d like to join the team, email Sam to learn more.
